It's A Volunteer Thing!
Pleasant Prairie Woman's Club was formed in 1964 and still carries on their dedication to family, community, education and volunteerism.
Our parent Club's, GFWC, roots can be traced back to 1868 when Jane Cunningham Croly, a professional journalist, attempted to attend a dinner at an all-male press club honoring British novelist Charles Dickens. Croly was denied admittance based upon her gender, and in response, formed a woman’s club—Sorosis. To learn more about GFWC, click on the image to the right.
We meet on the second Thursday of every month from September to June
P.O. Box 580260, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
